A teammate stops by your desk with a sharp piece of product feedback. You come off a customer call with three things worth remembering.
Most feedback reaches Harvestr through an integration, but not all of it arrives in writing. For everything else, you can add it yourself.
Create feedback from your inbox
Go to your inbox and click New Feedback.
The editor opens. Fill in:
a title
the customer — a user, a user with their company, or a company alone
labels
the content — the verbatim, as close to their words as you can
Write what the customer said, not your interpretation of it. The verbatim is what makes the feedback re-readable in six months — and what HAI works from.
Link to a Discovery straight away
If you already know where it belongs, link it to a new or existing Discovery from the same editor. On save, the feedback is linked and marked as processed — it never hits your inbox.
If you'd rather decide later, save without linking. It lands in your inbox like any other incoming feedback, ready to be categorized.
Other ways to capture feedback by hand
The Chrome extension — send feedback from any web page without leaving it. Useful for your customer-facing teams.
Excel/CSV import — for a backlog of feedback sitting in a spreadsheet.
Automate the rest
Typing feedback in yourself should be the exception. Connect the tools your customers already talk to you through:
