Create and manage Discovery views

Save your most-used filter and display combinations as reusable views.

Written by Marina Salmon

Filters help you cut your backlog down to the Discoveries you care about right now. Views let you save those combinations so you don't rebuild them every time.

Views appear as tabs above your list of Discoveries, so switching between "everything active", "top feature requests" and "what my squad is working on" is a single click.

What a view saves

A view captures how you're looking at your Discoveries:

  • Filters — state, component, tags, assignee, customer segment, feedback source, or any field value

  • Fields displayed — which columns appear in the table

  • Sorting — by name, feedback volume, creation date, or any numeric field

  • Layout — table or board

Filters are always visible above the list, so you can adjust them on the fly and save the result as a new view when a combination proves useful.

Views are shared, tab order is yours

This distinction matters when you work as a team:

  • The views themselves are shared across your workspace. Creating, editing or deleting one affects everybody.

  • The order of your tabs is personal. Rearranging them changes nothing for your teammates.

So a view built by your team lead is immediately available to everyone, while each person keeps the ones they use most within easy reach.

Where views work

Views are available inside a Component and across all your Discoveries alike. A view applied inside a Component is scoped to that Component's Discoveries.

Views worth building

Views pay off most when they answer a question you ask repeatedly. A few that work well:

  • Top requests — sorted by feedback volume, descending. Your "what do customers actually want" view.

  • Revenue at stake — sorted by a Rollup field on cumulated ARR. Different answer from the one above, and that gap is usually the interesting conversation.

  • Churn signals — filtered on a Rollup counting feedback labelled as churn risk.

  • Quick wins — high impact, low effort, using your rating fields.

  • Needs triage — Discoveries with no linked feedback, or sitting in an unstarted state for too long.

Views are what turn a product meeting from "let me filter this real quick" into opening a tab. Build the three or four your team asks about every week and stop there.
