Watch a Discovery or a Component to get notified, in-app and by email, when something happens on it — a new Discovery created, a state change, a comment added.
Watch a Discovery
Watching a Discovery notifies you when:
its state changes
new feedback is linked to it
a comment is added
Click the eye icon next to the Discovery's action buttons.
Watch a Component
Watching a Component notifies you when, anywhere inside it:
a new Discovery is created
a Discovery's state changes
new feedback is linked to a Discovery
a comment is added to a Discovery
Click the Component's name, then Watch Component.
Watch the Component, not every Discovery inside it. If you own a product area, watching the Component covers everything in it, including Discoveries created after you started watching.
Watch individual Discoveries when you care about a specific topic outside your usual scope — something a customer is waiting on, for instance.
How notifications are sent
Notifications arrive both in-app and by email.
Email notifications are bundled rather than sent one by one, so watching an active Component won't flood your inbox.
