Feedback templates for Chrome and Slack have moved from a single text placeholder to a real form: custom questions, per-field guidance, required fields.
Here's what changed and what happens to the templates you already have.
What changed
Classic templates | New templates | |
Structure | One content field with a text placeholder | Custom questions that structure the answer |
Guidance | Written inside the template text itself | Each field carries its own description |
Labels | One label field | Custom select and multi-select fields |
Default fields | Limited configuration | Any of them can be made required or optional |
Switching templates (Chrome) | Switch freely between any saved template | Either the configured template, or none |
What happens to your existing templates
Nothing is deleted. Your classic templates stay in your feedback templates list.
The switch happens when you save a new template from the Chrome or Slack settings — not on a date we picked. Until then, everything keeps working as before.
Once you do save one:
the new template takes over for that channel
the classic one is no longer used in Chrome or Slack
it remains usable for feedback created directly in Harvestr, and in HubSpot, which moves to the new generation later

Before you save a new template, note down what your classic one asked for. It stays in the list, but going back means rebuilding the questions.
