Feedback labels are essential for organizing and filtering incoming feedback in Harvestr. They can help you quickly identify the type of feedback you are receiving and make it easier to search for specific feedback. This article will explain how to manage and use labels in Harvestr to improve your feedback management process.
Importing labels from integrations
One of the great features of Harvestr is that it can automatically import labels from some integrations: support tools (Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk), and Zapier.
This means that if you are importing feedback from those tools, Harvestr will automatically import the labels associated with that feedback. This saves you time and effort in manually creating labels for each piece of feedback.
Creating labels in Harvestr
If you are not using any integrations or want to create custom labels, you can easily do so in Harvestr. You can either create a label from a feedback in your inbox or from the labels settings.
You can then give your label a title and update its visibility settings.
Labels visibility settings
If you have a lot of labels, you might want to choose where these labels should be visible or not to keep things tidy.
When creating a label and from the labels settings, you can choose your labels will be visible:
visible in Harvestr means that the label will displayed in the feedback inbox at the feedback level and in the left sidebar
visible in an integration means that the label will be displayed and selectable from the integrations you have connected to Harvestr
From the labels settings, you can also set the default visibility for all labels that are created from integrations:
visible in Harvestr means that each new label that is created from an integration will be visible by default in Harvestr but not in your other integrations
visible nowhere means that each new label that is created from an integration won't be visible anywhere, neither in Harvestr nor in your other integrations
