The command palette is one search box for your whole workspace. Open a Discovery, jump to a section, create something or act on what you're looking at, without reaching for your mouse.
Opening the command palette
Press cmd + k on Mac or ctrl + k on Windows. Press it again, or esc, to close it.
It works from any page, including while a Discovery or a dialog is open.
To open it already searching for one type of item:

What you can do
Results are grouped by section. Actions on what you're looking at always come first.
Act on what you're looking at
These change with the page you're on:
Open feedback: Process, Delete, Link to discovery, Add a comment, Edit message, Assign message, and Accept or Reject all AI suggestions when there are some
Ticked feedback in the inbox: Process or Delete all of it at once
Inbox: Search messages
Open Discovery: Set state, Add tag, Add sub-discovery, Add link, Add feedback, Add a comment, Assign to, Link project, Set as related to, Mark as duplicate of, Move discovery, Merge into discovery, Export, Enable or Disable public link, Delete, and Link a Jira, Linear, GitHub, GitLab or Trello issue when the integration is connected
Discoveries view: Add filter, Clear all filters, Select filterview, Select component, Search in view, Manage fields, Edit component, and Watch or Unwatch this component
Roadmap: Create roadmap view and Create roadmap folder
User: Edit user, Create feedback for this user, Manage user attributes
Company: Edit company, Manage company attributes, Merge with another company
Create
From any page: Create discovery, Create feedback, Create roadmap project, Create tag, Create message label, Create discovery state, Create discovery field, Create user, Create company and Invite teammate.
Go to
Jump to Inbox, Discoveries, Chat, Roadmap or Settings. When a section has a keyboard shortcut, the palette shows it next to the name: a good way to learn them as you go.
Search
As you type, the palette also searches your workspace for matching Discoveries, users, companies, roadmap projects and Custom Inboxes, showing the top 3 of each.
To see more results of one type, choose Open discovery…, Open user… and so on, or use the matching o shortcut.
You don't need the exact name, and common synonyms work too: new finds Create discovery, timeline finds Roadmap.
The palette doesn't search inside feedback.
To find feedback, open the inbox, then choose Search messages in the palette, or use the advanced search.
Commands with several steps
Some commands, like Add filter or the ones ending with …, open a new step instead of closing the palette. The current step appears as a label before the search box.
For example, to filter a Discoveries view:
Press
cmd + kand choose Add filter.Choose a field, then a condition.
Choose or type a value. The filter is applied and the palette closes.
Press backspace in an empty search box to go back one step.
Describe it instead. If AI features are enabled on your workspace, type what you're looking for in plain words in Add filter or Search messages, then choose the AI filter row.

The bottom of the palette reminds you of the keys available at each step.
Why don't I see a command?
The palette only shows what you can do. A command is hidden when:
your role doesn't allow it, such as creating tags or deleting Discoveries
you don't have access to that section (Inbox, Discoveries, Roadmap or Customers)
it depends on something not set up on your workspace, such as Link Jira issue without the Jira integration
it doesn't apply to the page you're on
