Harvestr provides a hosted MCP server that allows AI tools to explore, analyze, and act on your Harvestr data using the Model Context Protocol.

Server URL

https://mcp.harvestr.io/mcp

Step 1: Generate an MCP Token

  1. Click New MCP Token

  2. Add a short description to identify the client using it (e.g. Claude Desktop, Claude Code, etc.)

  3. Click Create

  4. Copy the generated token and store it securely

Each token is scoped to your organization and can be revoked at any time.

Step 2: Configure Your MCP Client

In your MCP compatible client:

  1. Add a new MCP server

  2. Use the following URL:

    https://mcp.harvestr.io/mcp
  3. Provide your MCP token for authentication

  4. Save the configuration

Once connected, your AI agent can access Harvestr tools and data.

Security Best Practices

  • Treat your MCP token like a password

  • Store it securely

  • Revoke unused tokens

  • Create separate tokens per client for better control
