Discovery templates help you standardize how discoveries are created and make it easier to draft structured PRDs and product documents without starting from scratch.
Create a discovery template
From the Discovery templates settings, click Create a new template.
When creating a template, you can define:
Template title
The internal name used to identify the template.Discovery title
The title that will automatically be pre-filled when a discovery is created using this template.Discovery description
The content that will load into the discovery. Use this section to add your PRD outline, sections, or guiding questions.
Templates can be reordered. The order determines how they appear when creating a new discovery.
Set a default discovery template
You can optionally set a default discovery template.
When a default template is selected, it is automatically applied to every new discovery unless a different template is chosen manually.
This is useful if your team follows a standard structure for most discoveries.
Use a discovery template
If multiple templates are available, you can switch between them at any time while creating the discovery.
Selecting a different template updates the discovery title and description accordingly.
