If your sales and customer success teams use Claap to record and transcribe calls, you can pipe the product feedback those calls contain into Harvestr automatically. A dedicated AI field on your Claap meetings view identifies the feedback in each call, and Claap sends it to Harvestr with the customer and call metadata already attached — so only relevant calls land in your inbox, no manual triage.
Prerequisites
An Editor account in Harvestr.
An Elite subscription in Harvestr.
A Claap Business subscription with an Owner or Admin account.
How it works
You configure an AI field called "Product feedback" on your Claap meetings view. Claap runs this AI field on every relevant recording — it looks for product feedback and, when it finds some, extracts it into structured content. A webhook then sends that recording and its extracted feedback to your Harvestr inbox.
Each new feedback in Harvestr arrives with:
the linked customer (from the Claap meeting participants)
call metadata: date, participants, link to the full recording, and the transcript
the content of the Product feedback AI field, which becomes the body of the feedback
From there, Harvestr's own AI categorizes the feedback into the right discoveries.
Set up the integration
Step 1: Add the Product feedback AI field in Claap
In Claap, go to Meetings views.
Click Add column.
Add an AI field and name it Product feedback.
Write an instruction prompt that tells the AI what to look for. Here's a starting point you can adapt:
Detect when the customer shares a need, frustration, or suggestion related to the product (e.g., missing feature, UX issue, integration request, performance concern, pricing). Highlight and list the exact customer verbatims without rephrasing or summarizing. Group verbatims by topic when relevant.
See Claap's documentation on AI fields for details and best practices.
The AI field name matters. Harvestr identifies the right Claap AI field by its name — it must be Product feedback. If you want to use a different name, contact our support team and we'll help you set it up.
Make sure you check the option to auto-apply the AI field to all meetings. This step is required for the integration to fire. Without auto-application, the AI field won't run on incoming recordings, and nothing will be sent to Harvestr.
Step 2: Connect Claap to Harvestr via webhook
In Harvestr, go to Settings → Integrations → Claap and click Connect. Harvestr generates a unique Webhook URL for your workspace.
Copy the Webhook URL.
In Claap, go to Settings → API & Webhooks and create a new webhook.
Select the recording added event.
Paste the Harvestr Webhook URL and save. Claap returns a Webhook ID and Webhook Secret.
Back in Harvestr's Claap integration page, paste the Webhook ID and Webhook Secret, then click Save.
✅ The Claap integration is now live. Harvestr will start receiving product feedback from your calls.
What Harvestr imports from each call
When a call is sent to Harvestr via the integration, we automatically create a new feedback that includes:
🎯 the content of the Product feedback AI field
✏️ the full transcript
🧑💼 the call participants
📅 the call date and time
🔗 a link to the full recording
You see exactly what was said, by whom, and in what context. Harvestr's AI then parses the content of the Product feedback field to surface relevant feedback and categorize it into your discoveries.
Migrating from Insights templates
Claap recently sunsetted Insights templates and replaced them with AI fields. If you set up this integration earlier using a Product feedback section inside an Insights template, make sure to upgrade your webhook in Claap:
Go to Settings → API & Webhooks.
Edit your webhook, and toggle Include AI fields in the payload ON.
New webhooks already default to the new format, so this only affects webhooks you set up before the change.
Full migration guide here.
For any new setup, follow the AI field steps above.
